1978 Dodge Lil Red Express Truck
Mixing together Mopar legends Tom Hoover, Dick Maxwell, Dave Koffel and the Mopar parts bin can only yield one thing: Performance. Built on a short wheelbase chassis, the L’il Red Truck (Package code YH6) received its power from a high performance 360 V8. Equipped with a 4 barrel carburetor, 3.55:1 axle ratio, high flow heads and lumpy cam the truck yielded a performance vehicle in an unlikely platform. With twin stacks and wood trim on the bed, there was no missing this unique Mopar. With plenty of 360 Mopar Performance parts (heads, cams and manifolds) still available, this truck became a favorite among enthusiasts. It was a performance vehicle which was also unique standing still. It embodies the spirit of Mopar in producing the expected and thrilling with the unexpected.
