Nearly all spark plug components are manufactured in-house in Champion's worldwide production facilities, ensuring the superior quality of our spark plugs.

The features shown above are representative of the hundreds of different types of spark plugs that we design and manufacture to meet varying requirements of internal combustion engines around the world.

1. Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) Suppression - A semiconductive ceramic material that is exclusive to Champion Spark Plugs. Eliminates RFI interfaces in vehicle electronics and audio systems.

2. Triple Coated Shell - This special anti-seize coating enables easy spark plug removal.

3. Metal Components - Champion Spark Plugs have superior corrosion protection. Champion "raised the bar" in salt fog testing by passing a 200 hour corrosion test - now the standard specification for DaimlerChrysler OE and Mopar replacement plugs.

4. Tapered Center & Side Electrodes - This tapering provides better ignitability for easier starts, smoother idling and quicker acceleration.

5. Copper-Cored Ground Electrodes - Champion was the first to mass produce spark plugs with copper-cored ground electrodes, which dissipates heat at a faster rate to reduce gap erosion and provide longer life.
